Join Us For The Scaleup Policy Session!

Share your insights and challenges with the Government as part of the Tech Nation Scaleup Policy Roundtable Session.

The new Government recently launched a consultation to inform a new modern industrial strategy – Invest 2035 – a 10-year plan to deliver the certainty and stability businesses need to invest in the high growth sectors that will drive the growth mission. The Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) are in the process of consulting on and developing the Digital and Tech pillar of this new industrial strategy.

Hosted by Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at DSIT and the Department of Business and Trade, Baroness Jones of Whitchurch, we are delighted to invite you to this unique Tech Nation programme event to allow you to share your views directly with Government in a timely and meaningful manner, feeding into live strategic thinking.

Bringing together DSIT policy makers and scaleup founders from Tech Nation’s Upscale and Future Fifty 2024 cohorts, Baroness Jones will open the session by outlining current strategic themes and early thoughts for the new Government.

We will then break out into roundtable discussions on themes of talent and skills, access to capital, procurement and supply chain, and regulation & competition for deeper sharing of ideas and discussions between policy makers and founders. For each of these themes DSIT are keen to hear your views on where the UK’s strengths and weaknesses lie, and what action the Government should take. A framing document will be provided to participants ahead of the event to best prepare your thoughts.

This event is open to founders from both the Upscale and Future Fifty Cohorts. This is limited to 1 founder per company.
